Document Description
Project involves the installation and operation of shore power equipment and its necessary infrastructure at the Tenth Avenue Marine Terminal. The project allows cargo ships to use electrical power from shore power rather than the vessels' auxiliary engines. A portion of the TAMT Shore Power System was constructed in 2013, which included two shore power outlets at berth 10-2 and 10-3, as well as the installation of an underground duct bank to berth 10-4 to allow for future expansion. The proposed project extends shore power capabilities to berth 10-4, as originally contemplated and previously authorized by TAMT Shore Power Project.
