The project consists of the placement of fill (streambed material onsite) and ungrouted rock riprap at four locations within Long Canyon Creek to stabilize the creek banks and prevent future erosion. The amount of fill and riprap to be placed at each location includes: 313 cubic yards of fill and 281 linear feet of riprap at the equestrian arena off North General Kearny Road (Location 1); 48 cubic yards of riprap at the box culvert at the intersection of Via Norte and Calle Pina Colada (Location 2); 282 cubic yards of fill and 341 linear feet of riprap at the community pool house off Via Norte (Location 3); and 266 cubic yards of fill and 133 linear feet of riprap at the confluence of Long Canyon Creek and an unnamed tributary immediately east of Avenida Centenario (Location 4).
