Document Description
Rule 219 provides an exemption to a written permit or filing requirements for specified equipment, processes, or operations that emit small amounts of air pollutants. Rule 222 provides access to a simple and efficient filing system for specified low-emitting emission sources. SCAQMD staff is proposing to add some types of equipment to both Rule 219 (to exempt them from permit requirements) and Rule 222 (to track equipment by imposing filing requirements). Operational emissions associated with implementing the proposed project would potentially exceed the SCAQMD's operational significance threshold for oxides of nitrogen.
