The District will grant an Easement to the Bureau of Reclamation to construct, operate and maintain for 18 months a demonstration Drainage Treatment Facility for drainage treatment on a total of approximately 4 acres of land within the geographical boundaries of the existing San Joaquin River Improvement Project (SJRIP) reuse area. Reclamation will construct pipelines from 7 existing SJRIP reuse sumps to the Facility; treated water will be returned for reapplication on the reuse area and solid waste will be deposed of at a Class I landfill.
