Agoura Road Widening and Canwood Street Improvements Project
NEG - Negative Declaration
Present Land Use
Repaving of Canwood Street and slope stabilization along the roadway. Widening of Agoura Road from 2 to 4 lanes from the westerly City limits to just west of Reyes Adobe Rd., and again from Ladyface Court to Kanan Rd. For the segment between Reyes Adobe Road and Ladyface Court, there would be only a pavement overlay. Class II bikeway, landscaped medians and parkway along Agoura Road and for a portion, addition of diagonal parking along the street. Agoura/Kanan Roads intersection improvements involve widening Kanan Rd. between Agoura Rd. and 500 feet north and 1,600 feet south of the intersection and widening Agoura Rd. about 600 feet on either side of the intersection to allow for turning movements.
