CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2017-0166-R6, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Coachella Valley Water District. The project is limited to the construction, operation, and maintenance of a buried 30-inch domestic water transmission pipeline near the unincorporated communities of Thermal and Oasis. The pipeline project is proposed to be seven miles in length and includes a pump station at the southeast corner of Harrison Street and Avenue 80 in unincorporated Riverside County. The project would provide domestic water to the communities of Salton Sea Beach, Desert Shores, Salton City, and unincorporated areas of Riverside and Imperial Counties.
