Document Description
The proposed project consists of the restacking (reconfiguring of workstations and personnel) on Floors 1 through 5 of the Governor Edmund G. "Pat" Brown Building, which houses the PUC. The scope of work consists of minor demolition and new construction including: break rooms; Fire and Life Safety improvements; California Title 24 and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) modifications; electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and telecomminucation/data modificatios and upgrades to conform to appropriate codes and standards; disconnecting and hooking up of electrical and telecommunications/data for modular systems; and some furniture relocation.The proposed project would improve the functionality, safety, energy efficiency, and ADA compliance of the existing PUC building, which was constructed in 1984.
