The 0.5-acre Reeds Creek Restoration Project consists of eliminating ponding along the creek created by beavers and natural deposits of sediment and debris. Reeds Creek is located along the northern end of Beale Air Force Base, approximately 1.2 miles from an active runway. The purpose of the project is to reduce the flight hazard due to increased bird activity along Reeds Creek.
