The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes a highway maintenance project to overlay 0.1 feet of Rubberized Hot Mix Asphalt (RHMA) on approximately 29 miles of State Route 26. The purpose of the project is to repair areas of failing or damaged pavement in order to extend the service life of State Route 26.
