Document Description
The project consists of a maximum of four overwater geotechnical borings within the San Joaquin River along the south side of Sherman Island. The depths of these borings are planned to range between 100 and 200 feet below the mud line (i.e. river bottom). The drilling will be conducted with a rotary drilling rig mounted on a shallow-draft barge or ship. The information acquired form the geotechnical investigation will be used to support the design process for improvements to the Curtis Landing fish release site. SAA # 1600-2012-0185-R3.
