Document Description
The project will fund an anaerobic disgestion facility that produces renewable natural gas from pre-landfill municipal solid waste up to 100 tons per day (TPD). A related project proposed for funding will install a compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling station at the site. The expansion will add two 300,000 gallon tanks, skids, waste-receiving equipment, CNG dispensers, and CNG processing equipment to the existing 12.26 acre SATS, resulting in approximately 11,000 sq ft of new structure on the 12.26 acre Sacramento South Area Transfer Station. Truck traffic will be about 20 trucks per day, plus vehicles fueling at the CNG station.
