Document Description
The project will remove and existing maintenance hole, install 2 hydrodynamic separators, construct 2 new catch basins, install about 85 feet of new storm drain lines, and install about 8,700 square feet of asphalt concrete (AC) pavement overlay at the intersection of Stagg Street and Fair Avenue to increase the performance of existing bioswales and infiltration galleries in the project vicinity and enhance runoff flow routing and reduce sediment loading at the infiltration galleries, increasing the efficiency of existing stormwater BMPs. The project will also remove about 5,400 square feet of AC pavement and construct a walkway, landscaping, and BMPs in an existing 270 feet long, 20 feet wide alley, which is used as a public walkway or paseo and to convey surface runoff towards Lull Street. Multiple benefits include limited passive recreation and stormwater quality, flood management, and aesthetic improvement. Stormwater quality and flood management BMPs will treat runoff through infiltration. Public benefit.
