The California Invasive Plant Council is requesting $58,593 in funding from the Sierra Nevada Conservancy's Proposition 84 Healthy Forests Grant Program to complete invasive plant management plans and environmental compliance documents for two key "rapid response" sites in Plumas and Tuolumne Counties. Key stakeholders for the project include, but are not limited to, the U.S. Forest Service, National Parks, BLM, University of California Cooperative Extension, Plumas and Tuolumne County Aricultural Departments, Caltrans, Plumas and Tuolumne Resource Conservation Districts, and Sierra Pacific Industries.
