Document Description
The project consists of approval of a pilot study work plan for Univar USA, Inc. (Univar) to conduct pilot studies of Potassium Permanganate, Alkaline Activated Persulfate, and Enhanced Bio-remediation, as groundwater cleanup technologies. The pilot studies will provide valuable informaiton to determine whether these technologies are effective technologies for the destruction of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in groundwate. The primary contaminants of concern are the industrial solvents tetrachloroethylene (PCE) and trichloroethylene (TCE).
