Document Description
The project is limited to removal of an abandoned 12- inch iron sanitary sewer pipe crossing Garrity Creek. Due to downcutting of the bed, the pipeline is exposed several feet above the channel. Prior to removal of the pipe, concrete will be poured into the pipe from manholes located on either side of the crossing to prevent spills during removal. The pipe was replaced in-kind in the previous construction year. Issuance of Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2012-0291-3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
