Document Description
Using both State and Federal funds, the California of Transportation (Caltrans) will place a microsurfacing treatment on 8.7 mi. of (SR) 70 within Plumas County beginning approximately 4 mi. west of the City of Quincy and ending near the city's east end. Work will include restriping traffic lands. Except for parking, staging, and materials stocking, all work will remain with the existing roadbed hinge points. The pavement is at the age where a preventative type treatment is needed to extend the service life of the road before it needs major rehabilitation.
