Document Description
Improvement of the Sherman Island levee system to meet PL 84-99 standards between approximate levee station 333+00 - 545+00 and 645+000 - 700+00 as described above, and will occur on individual and discontinuous sections of levee within the gross project limits. It is anticipated that approximately 15,000 feet of levee within the gross project area will be improved to meet the PL 84-99 levee standard. In addition, Reclamation District 341 is constructing a counterbalance berm adjacent to the landside levee toe between approximate station 520+00 and 545+00. The berm is intended to improve levee stability such that the levee crest elevation can be improved to the PL 84-99 standard.
