CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0311-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Ron Kiaaina, Caltrans. Road widening along a 9-mile phase will cause impacts at two CDFW jurisdictional features from the removal of riparian woodland habitat. There will be 184 linear feet (0.06 ac) of temporary impacts and 226 linear feet (0.13 ac) of permanent impacts to riparian trees (within a contiguous riparian canopy) that are located above the top of bank along the southbound roadway at one site. Additionally, approx. 45 linear feet of riparian canopy will be removed, which will result in an impact of approx. 0.04 acres from canopy removal at the second site.
