Document Description
The proposed project is a church facility within a residential area that requires approval of a Hillside Development Plan, Use Permit, Variance, Design Review, and Heritage Tree Removal from the City of Concord. The structures would be built in the flatter portions of the property and set back approximately 110 to 170 feet from the westerly property line. The parking area and landscaping would be located between the structures and the westerly property line. The remaining one-third of the property would be left as open space. The sanctuary would contain 12,257 sf and the multi-purpose building would contain 13,613 sf, containing two floors. Access to the site would be gained approximately 240 feet south of the Lane Drive/Lanway Court intersection via an existing access road and bridge over the Contra Costa Canal and EBRPD Canal Trail.
