The request is for a Coastal Development Permit with hearing to allow for the construction of a new 2,354 sf single-family residence with attached 752 sf garage, a new 799 sf guest house with 409 sf detached garage and related access and site improvements. The residence would have a maximum height of approximately 14 feet above existing grade. Total grading for the project would include approximately 2,435 cubic yards of cut and 755 cubic yards of fill. A total of 20 oak trees are proposed for removal and an additional 12 oak trees may be impacted by the proposed development. The parcel is currently vacant and would be served by the Alegria Domestic Mutual Water Company, private septic systems, and the County of Santa Barbara Fire District. Access would be provided off of Agua Caliente Road.
