Document Description
The City submitted the 2008-2014 Draft Housing Element Update for review to the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) on March 2, 2012 for preliminary review. On April 20, 2012, HCD responded to the City indicating that the draft Housing Element Update met the statutory requirements of housing element law. On October 23, 2012, the Planning Commission held a public hearing and recommended approval to City Council. On November 20, 2012, City Council held a public hearing in which the Housing Element Update was adopted along with a General Plan Amendment for the Land Use Element, code amendment and zone change.
