Document Description
This proposal entails the establishment of a swine yard with up to 40 adult pigs and up to 120 piglets on a 19.61-acre parcel in the AE-20 (Exclusive Agricultural, 20-acre minimum parcel size) Zone District. Support facilities for the swine yard include four existing 576 sf agriculturally-exempt shade structures, each of which has two existing 600 sf outdoor pens, and an existing 2,520 sf agriculturally-exempt barn which contains twelve 60 sf pens for breeding boars and five 100 sf sow nursery pens. Additionally, this agriculturally-exempt barn also has an existing 600 sf additional which contains a 360 sf farrowing (birthing) area with four pens and a 240 sf nursery area with four pens.
