The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) is proposing to approve a Remedial Action Workplan (RAW) pursuant to authority granted under Chapter 6.8, Division 20, California Health & Safety Code (H&SC) on the Fullerton Union Pacific Park (FUPP) Site (Site) located in the City of Fullerton, California. The Site was formerly purchased and/or occupied by a variety of manufacturing, distribution, and transportation businesses. These included the Los Angeles and Salt Lake Railroad Company, Union Pacific Railroad and Freight Depot, Elephant Orchards Fruit Packing House, Service Roofing Company, Tetra Tech, A & L Roof Cleanoff Service, Allied Fence Company, Standard Oil Service Station, etc. One or more of these businesses could have potentially released total petroleum hydrocarbons polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, volatile orgranic compounds, and metals as result of their operations.
