Document Description
The project would extend Jeffries Ranch Road approximately 200 feet north to provide right-in/out access to SR 76 to reestablish the intersection of Jeffries Ranch Road and SR-76 that was previously closed as part of the SR-76 widening project by Caltrans in 2010-2011. The project would include a median island to restrict the turning movements to right-turn only at the ingress and egress at Jeffries Ranch Road. The egress will be controlled by a stop sign. Adequate line of sight will be provided. Due to metering of the upstream signal, adequate gaps in traffic will be provided to allow for acceleration. The lanes on SR-76 are 12 feet wide with an 8-foot shoulder. The project would not affect these lane widths. The right turn lane would be constructed to a standard 12-foot width. Curb-to-curb distance on Jeffries Ranch Road is 36 feet to match existing conditions.
