Document Description
Proposed 3,500 square foot pilot demonstration anaerobic digester as part of ongoing District composting and recycling operations. The proposed project would process organic waste (feedstock) already received by the District and convert the materials into biogas and soil amendment. Biogas emissions would be recycled as a power source for the digester with excess electricity generated by the project used for other uses in the Monterey Regional Environmental Park, potentially including the MRWPCA wastewater treatment facility adjacent to the project site.
