Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) District 10 is proposing a maintenance project to remove the radio infrastructure located on State Route 88 at Kays Road adjacent to Silver Lake in Amador County. The radio infrastructure was originally installed under Caltrans EA 10-0U690. Removal would include the concrete pad, cabinets, conduit and antenna pole foundation. Single-lane closures would be required during removal work, which would occur on preciously disturbed areas within Caltrans right of way. The purpose and need of the project is to remove radio infrastructure to restore the previously unobstructed view of Silver Lake for the motoring public.
