Document Description
The project aims to replace and extend a portion of an existing commercial-use pier located on the west shore of Lake Tahoe; specifically, reconfigure and lengthen middle-finger pier, and relocate the loading dock to the northwest pier finger. The intent is to improve public boat access and navigation. The existing middle-finger pier is approximately 47.8' lineal feet with double piling above the pier deck and catwalk along the northside. The proposed middle-finger pier is approximately 90'. The existing catwalk will be replaceted to the north pier which will be attached to existing piling and no new lake bottom disturbance will be required. The proposed project intends to replace 8 existing piling with 6 piling, a net reduction of 2 piling.
