Document Description
The Project consists of restoring the existing stock pond that has accumulated sediment since its construction in 1961 for the purpose of restoring capacity, reducing erosion within the channel, and enhancing wildlife habitat at the pond. The site will be restored using native plants and will incorporate a system to provide off-stream water sources for cattle. This will be accomplished by removing approximately 10,000 cubic yards of accumulated sediment from the pont and spillway, armoring portions of the pont and spillway, and repairing a failing bank using bioengineering techniques.
