Document Description
The California Department of Public Health (Department) is the responsible agency. The Department's Safe Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (SDWSRF) Program is providing state funds for the project. The Islands Union Elementary School District proposes to construct a new water well that will replace an existing well that has a water supply which exceeds the arsenic maximum contamination level. The old well will be disconnected from the distribution system once the new well has been brought online. The new well is a replacement well that is the same size and capacity of the existing well.
