The project is limited to the maintenance of ten debris basins within the already constructed Fair Oaks Ranch development. The basins will be restored per the original flood design capacity. The basins to be maintained are identified as Basins 2, 8, 9 - 16. Total areas impacted within DFG jurisdiction for these activities total 5.33 acres. Project activities primarily involve periodic excavation, land clearing, repair, and maintenance of existing debris basin structures and appurtenances, fire hazard clearing, vector control, and vegetation removal.
