Document Description
California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitiation (CDCR) is entering into an agreement with the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) to temporarily locate 137 new CDCR staff to DJJ's Stockton Training Center (STC0 located at the Northern California Youth Correctional Center (NCYCC). The STC, a cadet training academy, is on South Newcastle Road approximately one-third mile south of Stockton within unincorporated central San Joaquin County. The purpose of the project is to provide office/training space for new staff hired for the California Health Care Facility-Stockton CHCF) which is being constructed next to the NCYCC at Arch and Austin Roads. Beginnning in October 2012, the STC offices will be used to hire and train CHCF staff through July 2013 when they will relocate permanently to the CHCF which is scheduled for completion at that time.
