Collect sediment core sample 2-6 feet in length to access gain size distribution and carbon dting along vertical extent of core at up to 12 locations throughout Los Penasquitos Lagoon, within Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve. Sampling will occur outside of Belding's Savannah Sparrow and LF Clapper Rail breeding seasons, approximately August 2012 - June 2013.
