Document Description
The proposed project is a demolition project to demolish the southwest portion of a building a BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair Shipyard. The affected building, Building 40, consists of a main structure and two annexes: the North Annex and the South Annex. The proposed project affects only the annexes; the main structure will not be modified. The proposed project involves: 1) demolishing 125-feet of the South Annex building; 2) constructing a new end wall to the SOuth Annex; and 3) installing two (2) disabled person access ramps, one at the South Annex and one at the North Annex to meet City of San Diego building code requirements. The annex building being demolished is not considered to be of any historic significant locally or nationally.
