Document Description
This is a research project that would gather data and understanding regarding how feces from various sources (i.e. human, septage, sewage, bird, dog, and cow) change in freshwaters, surf zones, and in beach sands /sediments at seven location in California (CA). Plexiglas diffusion chambers (3 by 1 inches) will be manually submerged at different locations in creeks, lagoons, and surf zones allowing the enclosed bacterial community to experience ambient environmental fluctuations.
