Document Description
The proposed project is to perform structural repairs to existing wood and concrete facilities and structures, such as docks, decks, wharves, piers, retaining walls, and lighting fixtures, at various locations throughout District tidelands (San Diego, National City, and Imperial Beach) in order to maintain safe and secure District facilities. The work to be completed includes the following: repairing breasting walls at the Shelter Island Transient Dock; refurbishing the wood deck and guardrails at the Shelter Island Observation Deck; sealing the concrete decks at the Tuna Boat Pier and the Cesar Chavez Parkway Fishing Pier; repairing damaged pile caps at the Fish Market Wharf, Fish Harbor Pier, and Embarcadero Marina Park South Fishing Pier; replacing damaged pile caps at the Fish Mark Wharf, Fish Harbor Pier; and Embarcadera marina Park South Fishing Pier; replacing wood deck planks at the Pepper Park Fishing Pier; and repairing concrete and replacing lighting fixtures along the retaining wall at Dunes Park.
