Document Description
The proposed project would install a 180 kW hydroelectric station at the terminus of the Sandtrap Siphon. Approximately 900 foot of the existing pipeline would be slip-line to increase the reliability of the aiphon for the hydroelectric operations. The project would generate 647 MWh of electrical power annually to offset damage at the water treatement plant and export excess power to the grid.
