Document Description
The project funds work activities for onsite visitor services along with the normal operations and maintenance activities required to sustain OHV recreation opportunities. Work activities in this project would include maintenance of the 27 mile long perimeter barrier, several miles of internal protective fencing (roads, Joshua tree, mines and cultural sites), 2 miles of paved road, 12 miles of maintained dirt roads, an 18- and 13-mile signed loop trail, a 14-mile signed interpretive trail, 10 vault toilets, and hundreds of various types and size signs.
