Document Description
The project is limited to the alteration of North Fork Lockwood Creek, where an existing water diversion is used to supply water to a downstream pond. The existing water diversion structure consists of a small rock dam that is two feet high and ten feet in length. The diversion takes surface flows from the creek and transports them in an existing, gravity fed pipeline that runs parallel to the creek for a distance of about 10,000 feet. The diversion is used on a seasonal basis starting around November and ending in April and the rate of diversion is estimated to be 100 gallons per minute and is used for storage at an off-stream pond location, which holds an estimated 18 acre-feet of water.
