The project is limited to drilling a single test hole into the bed of the Russian River near the existing center pier of the Healdsburg Avenue Bridge. The existing bridge would be used for vehicle and equipment access to drill the single test hole through Healdsburg Avenue Bridge deck and into the bend of the river.
