Document Description
The primary restoration activity includes the collection and propagation of native plant material to support the restoration effort of the Alder Creek Restoration site and future OHV restoration projects. The size of the restoration area is 10 acres. Restoration activities include 1) eliminating and rehabilitating unauthorized OHV routes; 2) collecting, propagating, and planting dormant willow cuttings along stream banks; 3) placing boulders to block vehicle access to streams; 4) ripping compacted denuded areas in preparation for seeding; 5) planting native container stock in denuded areas; 6) seed collection; and 7) planting native seeds in the denuded areas with mulch cover.
