Document Description
Permit No. 21101 was approved by the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) in 2001. The permit authorized a total diversion of 182,900 acre-feet per year from November 1 through March 31. At that time, GCID anticipated that the full water right would be put to beneficial use by December 31, 2011, which was the initial deadline to complete beneficial use under the permit. As of 2011, approximately 126,000 acre-feet of the 182,900 acre-feet have been put to beneficial use. GCID now anticipates the remaining 57,000 acre-feet will be put to beneficial use over the next 10 to 15 years.
