The applicant is proposing to legalize an existing 757 sf permanent farm labor housing unit, 11,520 sf agricultural barn/stable, and a 1,040 sf hay barn on a 65-acre parcel within the Planned Agricultural District and Coastal Development District located at 1820 Stage Road in the unincorporated Pescadero area of San Mateo County. The project also involves the conversion of an existing agricultural well for domestic use, installation of a new septic system, replacement of a culvert, and drainage and access improvements. The project site is located within the Stage Road County Scenic Corridor and is appealable to the CA Coastal Commission. Surrounding development includes larger rural parcels developed with single-family residence and/or used for agriculture.
