Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number PLA-54850-R2, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Placer County Water Agency, as represented by Ben Ransom. The project is limited to the modification of the existing Hell Hole Spillway to allow for storage of additional water in Hell Hole Reservoir during the spring and summer after the peak runoff period. The Project will include a structural modification of the existing spillway structure including partial demolition, abutment modifications, and addition of an intermediate pier. Twenty-three Obermeyer pneumatically controlled overflow crest gates will be installed across the existing ogee crest structure. Support facilities will be constructed on the crest structure’s left abutment and outside of the Ordinary High Water Mark.
