The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2014-0219-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Ms. Pamela Money representing Pacific Gas and Electric Company. The project is limited to 1 encroachment to create (330 sq. ft.) and enhance (5,200 sq. ft.) a wetland on an old road prism (formerly Buhne Avenue) along Buhne Slough for an off-site mitigation requirement for the Arcata 12-kV Distribution Line Reconducting Project.
