Document Description
The Music Festivals Plan Project Includes (1) an amendment to the City's Municipal Code to adopt a Major Music Festival Event Permit Ordinance; (2) a Major Music Festival event Permit; and (3) a Development Agreement. The Major Music Festival Event Permit allows the applicant to hold Major Music Festival events on up to 5 weekends annually from 2014-2030 on a 601 acre site located between Madison St., Ave 49, Monroe St., and Ave 50 in Indio with up to 3 of these events allowed on consecutive weekends each spring and the other two events in fall. The maximum daily attendance allowed is 75,000 persons for 2 of the permitted events and 99,000 for the other 3 events.
