Document Description
The Imperial Valley Solar Company 2 Project consists of developing a nominal 30-megawatt alternating current (MWAC) solar photovoltaic energy generation facility (proposed project) on 158.8 acres of land in Imperial County, CA. The proposed project will also include an underground transmission line interconnection to the Imperial Irrigation District (IID) Niland Substation. The proposed project will generate approximately 60,000 MWh of electricity per annum. The proposed project power output will be delivered to the IID's existing Niland substation, which is located on Beal Road, approximately 2,700 feet from the southwest corner of the proposed project site. IID will purchase all the output from the proposed project pursuant to a long-term power purchase agreement executed in December 2011.
