Document Description
The Aerial Acres Water Company is a mutual water purveyor serving the North Edwards area within eastern Kern County, CA. The Company is proposing to construct new and replacement water system facilities to serve the residents within its service area and to treat an arsenic contamination problem. It is the intent of this project to replace or install new water system facilities in order to meet existing water demands within the project's service area. The proposed project has three general objectives: (1) Construct new and replacement water transmission and distribution pipelines and storage capacity to provide an adequate water supply system to meet the Company's current and future domestic water supply demand and to remedy fire flow deficiencies; (2) Construct an additional water production well to increase water production and storage capacity to meet demand requirements of existing connections throughout the Company's water service area; and (3) install an arsenic treatment system to reduce existing arsenic concentrations in the well's water supply to meet current CDPH's health standards.
