Document Description
Round Valley Elementary School is presently served by one well. That well is shallow and the steal casing is deteriorating. Over the last two years the water system has failed three times forcing the school to bring in temporary toilets and bottled water. All three incidences put the school at risk of closing due to the shortage of water. Current state water standards require new water systems have redundant sources. The proposed project will drill a new well, providing a second source and reline the existing well with new casing. In conjunction with the well improvements a backup generator will be installed to further enhance the water system reliability.
