Document Description
The project includes dreging of approximately 2,400 cubic yards of material on Belmont Slough to restore the channel back to its historic depth and width to allow gravity flow back and forth with the tides between Oracle and Redwood City lagoons. A mechanical dredge will be used at low tide to remove sediment from the dreging site. An Auquamog equipped with a small sealed clambucket will scoop material directly onto a low draft barge for transport to the access area at the end of the slough.
