Document Description
The Department of Transporation is proposing to repair 2.5 mi. of (SR) 161 by pulvertization of existing pavement and adding a new hot mix asphalt overlay with shoulder backing. The purpose of the project is to improve base stiffness and enhance the structural integrity and performance of the road. Caltrans performed an environmental evaluation for this action, which consisted of a review of resource records and databases, consultation with applicable agencies and individuals, and field surveys. No historical properties will be affected. No sensibtive species will be affected.
